It’s hard to hold a candle in the cold November rain, as Mr Axl Rose once eloquently put it. Gloves seem like the obvious answer, but then they might get sodden, depending on the volume of precipitation and what they are made of. And so begin the sartorial decisions as winter lurches nearer. It’s been a long year, and we’re out of practise when it comes to dressing for this weather. Thankfully, there are those among us who know what they are doing in the wardrobe department, even in this climate. Consider them the supergroup of style, Fomori of fashion, the Avengers of attire – and see who this month joined their ranks, below. If you can hold a candle to any of them, then hats off to you. (On second thoughts, let’s keep the hat on.)
