It’s here. After false dawns – and, for those of us in the Western Hemisphere, a so-called “second spring” in mid-November – the cold weather has taken hold, and it’s finally time to really start dressing for insulation. Big coats have been taken out of storage, knitwear is back at the front of the closet and it’s time to make some important decisions about scarves. For the next three or four months, unless you’re lucky enough to live in warmer climes, it’s all about dressing to get through it.
