As the New York-based production company behind critically acclaimed titles such as Moonlight, Lady Bird and The Farewell – not to mention buzzy new release Aftersun and the highly anticipated The Whale – A24 has in the past 10 years blossomed from indie outsider to serious Hollywood player. The secret to its success? Its commitment to boundary-pushing, left-field storytelling that you won’t find with the industry behemoths certainly has a lot of do with it. But no doubt its propensity to churn out achingly good-looking films plays a big part, too.
