Watches: Staff Picks: The Best Watches Of 2021

The year draws to an end and, as MR PORTER’s resident horological correspondent, I feel urged, compelled even, to mark the passage of time in celebratory fashion. It has been a year in which we have had a new-found appreciation for the time we have and how we spend it, even if it has seemed to pass rather slowly. Our appreciation also extends to the magnificent devices we use to measure the time and it has been a rich year for watchmaking. The march of time was also marked on a larger scale by the release of our exclusive 10th Anniversary Collection, featuring collaborations with the likes of Roger Dubuis, Cartier and IWC Schaffhausen. These, according to MR PORTER’s team of watch experts, are the best watches of 2021.
